GAAR 2010 Fireworks.
--------------------

Following various comments received following previous GAARs, the Bluegrass Airlines Australian Division Pyrotechics Department proudly presents more of the same for GAAR 2010.

This package includes 3 files:-

GAAR_2010 fireworks.txt - You're reading it!

GAAR_2010 fireworks.bgl - A scenery file containing FS9 fireworks displays for GAAR 2010.

GAAR_2010 fireworks.xml - Source file for the display (included for (a) reference (b) anyone who wants to modify the display).

DISPLAY DETAILS:-
---------------

17th Feb 2010 (16:00-20:00):-

A fireworks display on the west side of YBTH Bathurst Airport. The display is timed to start well before the earliest arrivals, and continue during the end-of-event barbecue.

NOTAM: During the fireworks, approaches to rwy 35 should be flown using a RIGHT-HAND pattern. Runway 08 may not be used for landing, and runway 26 will be totally closed during the display. The normal (LH) pattern for runway 17 is unaffected.

26th Feb 2010 (17:00-21:00):-

A fireworks display on the west side of YBGC Coolangatta Airport. The display is timed to start well before the earliest arrivals, and continue during the end-of-event barbecue.

NOTAM: During the fireworks, approaches rwy 32 should be flown using a RIGHT-HAND pattern. Runway 17/35 will be closed during the display. The normal (LH) pattern for runway 14 is unaffected.

INSTALLATION (FS9)
------------------
Copy the "GAAR_2010 fireworks.bgl" to your "Addon Scenery\Scenery" folder.
That's it!

FSX
---
I don't have FSX, but believe that the "GAAR_2010 fireworks.bgl" file will work with it.

APOLOGIES
---------
Met forecasts suggest that conditions at Mount Hotham will be much too soggy for fireworks, and so the rumoured leg 4 display is cancelled.

ECOLOGICAL NOTE
---------------
The Fireworks used in these displays have a low carbon footprint, and will not cause any bushfires. They are unlikely to scare pets unless you have very big loudspeakers and fly with the volume turned up to "11"

DISCLAIMER
----------
This package is freeware, and should remain so. It is intended to add pleasure to your GAAR 2010 experience but is used at your own risk. If your PC displays any adverse signs or symptoms after installing it, don't blame me.

Enjoy it.
